Imagine being compelled to share a powerful message, no matter the odds stacked against you.
That’s exactly what my friend Ulfat, a brave Christian evangelist in Pakistan, has done after discovering my book, My Journey to Freedom [Book One] from abuse, codependency, faulty beliefs about Christianity to a personal encounter with the Unconditional Love of God"
The moment she read it, she recognized its significance and took on the incredible challenge of translating it into Urdu - by hand, with pen and paper. Yes, you read that right!
It wasn’t long before I decided to step in and provide her with a laptop and printer, setting her up for digital success. With this new technology, she began her page-by-page translation of this 450-page book, pouring countless hours into ensuring every word was accurate.
But her dedication didn't stop there. She understood the risk of having the book published locally due to its sensitive content, yet she persisted, collaborating with a university friend to print it at cost.
Now here’s where you come in. They have begun marketing the book, and her goal is ambitious: to place a copy in the hands of every Christian pastor and congregation in Pakistan. But to make this dream a reality, she needs your help.
Each hardcover copy costs $10 (that is cost price, no profit) I bought ten copies and told her all profits from the sale of these books will be donated to Ulfat's Women's Empowerment Ministry in Pakistan ... let me tell you more about her amazing ministry ...

Note from Susan: I have dedicated my life to helping people break free from abuse, codependency, and harmful beliefs that keep them trapped in unhealthy relationships. Through my books, I have shared this message of freedom, particularly for women and children.
While there are many needs here in Canada, I have come to personally know the selfless dedication of Ulfat and Asif, a Christian couple in Pakistan, who, along with their children, are serving as missionaries in a predominantly Muslim country. Their work is dangerous, their needs are immense, and they have very little outside support.
What I love most about their mission is that they don’t just provide temporary relief like food and warm clothing - they equip people with life-changing skills. Ulfat teaches sewing, hair and skin care, and computer skills so Christian women can support themselves and their children if they need to flee abuse.
Our support doesn’t just meet today’s needs - it gives them a future. She needs our help! I pray that you will seek God's will and if possible that you will be able to join me in this mission. ❤️

Ulfat inspires me. She is an unstoppable force - caring for her husband, helping with his ministry, the needs of her children, while feeding the poor and providing skills training!
Ulfat is excited. She has had two groups of students graduate from her sewing class and in this video demonstrates their handiwork so we can share in their success!
In many regions of Pakistan, brick kiln labour is tied to a system of “bonded debt.” Families borrow a small amount of money, often for medical emergencies or basic survival. Years later, they are still trapped. The wages paid by kiln owners are too low to ever repay the debt, and living conditions are often harsh and inadequate. Children are pulled from school to work alongside their parents, and generations remain stuck in poverty.
Matthew 25: 31-40 “When he finally arrives, blazing in beauty and all his angels with him, the Son of Man will take his place on his glorious throne. Then all the nations will be arranged before him and he will sort the people out, much as a shepherd sorts out sheep and goats, putting sheep to his right and goats to his left.
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Enter, you who are blessed by my Father! Take what’s coming to you in this kingdom. It’s been ready for you since the world’s foundation. And here’s why: I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was homeless and you gave me a room, I was shivering and you gave me clothes, I was sick and you stopped to visit, I was in prison and you came to me.’
“Then those ‘sheep’ are going to say, ‘Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink? And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ Then the King will say, ‘I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me - you did it to me.’
